About GEMs

The Gator Engineering Mentors program is designed to educate and encourage students in middle school and high school to aspire toward a career in the sciences and mathematics. For a powerpoint presentation introducing the program, click here.

Schedules to be posted.

Drop in at any of the dates/times listed. You do not have to sign up in advance. However, if you want to volunteer at any school you need to first fill out an Alachua County School Board Volunteer Application and go through a 5 minute orientation with Chris or David. They run the orientations usually after meetings or by appointment.

You also need to get a piece of paper signed by the teacher you volunteered for with the date and times you worked in order to receive credit for it.
