National Project
About the National Project
One of our advisors, Dean Earle, is now a member of the board of directors
of Tau Beta Pi. He is interested in our chapter, Florida Alpha, spearheading
a national project to improve interest and excitement among kids in
Engineering and Mathematics. To this end, we are participating in the
already-successful GatorTRAX
program to see how we can extend it to the national level.
How to Get Involved
Contact the National Project coordinator
Mike Rewak to participate. Also
check the calendar for upcoming GatorTRAX
sessions.

building S.
Q: What's the point?

through lectures and exciting hands-on activities.

A: It's FREE.

A: No, we cover different math subjects for each grade level on each Saturday.
Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: Maybe a pen.
Q: How should I dress?
A: It is a very informal event, jeans and a polo to be conservative.

assist them in presenting and explaining the material if necessary.
Our volunteers sometimes take over for the hands-on activities.
